In case you missed it, Manchester recently hosted the annual 26.2 mile Marathon run.
Congratulations to all those that took part in what is truly an epic achievement…and grueling experience.
Sale United were happy to get involved and work one of the many Water Bottle & Gel stations and were posted at mile 22. A brilliant atmosphere just off Dane Road, as we’re certain it was throughout the route with thousands flooding the streets to support the runners and encouraging them to the finish line.
Thank you to all those that offered their support to the runners and the club by taking their own time out to hand over gratefully received water and energy gels.
To all those brilliant runners…Congratulations, we hope you’ve recovered and we’ll see you again next year.
