Sale United Win The Bolton International Super Cup In The Under 15 Category
After four days of competition a team representing Sale United won through to the Final of this prestigious tournament held within a stones-throw from the Bolton Wanderers FC stadium.
During the first two days of competition the team faced tough opposition from U16 teams, but fought really hard, never giving up.
On Saturday they faced a Bolton Wanderers Institute side consisting of international players from Canada, Columbia, Iran and Kenya.
In the semi –final the Sale boys overcame an Atherton side who were the current Tameside 1st Division champions.
In the Final versus Moorside Rangers the Sale side looked comfortable in a 3 – 0 victory. Neil Lennon, the Bolton Wanderers Manager was on hand to present the Sale side with their medals and championship cup.
